Description of Personal Career Assessment tools

Various tools and techniques (online/offline) would be used for personal career  assessment depending on the need identified   during introduction and orientation session.

a) One of the tool being used is  standardised assessment tool developed by Mindler which is useful for high school and college students (age group 13 years to 25 years). It measures five areas orientation style,personality style, interest, aptitude (8 dimensions)and emotional intelligence. Detailed instructions will be given personally before appearing for assessment. It provides a detailed view of the child's strengths and weaknesses. It also provides tentative areas of career preference.

The personal career assessment can be done in person through paper-pencil test also. There are tools and  techniques other than testing such as interviews in person or through telephone etc,which can decided during introduction and orientation session or subsequent session
